These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Study the Bible App (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who the App is for
The App is intended for anyone interested in reading and studying the Bible. You must comply with any age requirements in your country and the rules of the App Store / Google Play. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. What the App provides
The App lets you read the Bible and browse it by book, genre, timeline, and favorites. It also includes an AI Assistant for discussing passages and creating study plans, interactive games (such as True or False, Fill in the Blanks, and Multiple Choice), and a Kanban-style Study Board for managing study tasks.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to interfere with its security, scraping content, reverse engineering, or using the AI Assistant in ways that are unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
4. AI Assistant and content
The AI Assistant is designed to support Bible study and discussion. It may produce mistakes, incomplete answers, or interpretations you may disagree with. You should verify important information by checking Scripture and other trusted sources. The App does not provide professional advice (including legal, medical, or financial advice).
5. Study plans, tasks, and your content
You can create study plans and tasks and manage them on the Study Board. You are responsible for the content you create or upload in the App. We may use aggregated, non-identifying analytics to improve the App.
6. Purchases, credits, and refunds
The App may offer consumable credits to use with the AI Assistant. New users receive 500 test credits to try the AI features. Credits you purchase are consumed when used and are not refundable, except where required by applicable law or the policies of the App Store / Google Play. Prices and availability may change at any time.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its functionality are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App unless we give you written permission.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App (or parts of it) at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may evolve as we improve the product.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the App.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where our company is established, unless local consumer laws require otherwise.
